028/2017 Proposal fro a Pan-Sussex Modern Slavery Coordinator

The Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) has approved a decision to utilise funding from the Community Safety Grant to support the post of a Pan-Sussex Modern Slavery Coordinator from January 2018 - March 2019.

Combating Modern Slavery features in the Police & Crime Plan 2017/21.

The business case has been supported through feedback and comments originating from the Regional Modern Slavery event in June 2017, the Sussex Modern Slavery Network, Stop the Traffic CEO and directly by Assistant Chief Constable Jeremy Burton, Detective Superintendent Ian Pollard, Detective Chief Inspector Steve Boniface and operational officers working closely with partner agencies.
