Commissioning and Procurement Manager
Since 2015, Police and Crime Commissioners have held the statutory responsibility for commissioning services that support victims of crime – in the past 2 years, the Sussex PCC has created, commissioned and supported a wide range of services and initiatives that are helping some of the most vulnerable people in Sussex to cope and recover from the impact of crime.
Through this new role, you will be able to use your experience in public procurement to deliver the Sussex PCC’s commissioning strategy, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation whilst taking an innovative approach to your work.
You will work with numerous partners, including Sussex Police, Sussex Criminal Justice Board, Community Safety Partnerships, Local Authorities, CCGs and the voluntary sector, to take an evidence and needs-based approach, in developing and delivering contracts for the provision of a complex portfolio of goods and services.
You will join the Sussex PCC’s Commissioning Team at an exciting time and be part of delivering significant improvements to the support available to all victims of crime across Sussex.
